The Summit Medina Workforce Development Board (WDB) will convene its public meetings on the following dates in 2024:

March 28
June 21
September 26
December 19

All meetings begin at 8:00 a.m.

The meetings will take place at the Radisson Hotel Akron/Fairlawn Blossom Room located at 200 Montrose West Avenue, Akron, OH 44321.

The WDB is comprised of business, non-profit and government representatives from Summit and Medina Counties, which together form Ohio’s Local Workforce Area 2. The WDB advises and steers programming offered by the Area 2 public workforce system and is governed by the Summit and Medina Workforce Area Council of Governments (SAMWA COG).

WDB meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
