Learning Series: National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Celebrating Inclusion: NDEAM and Workforce Development Partnerships

In celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we have invited leaders from the Portage, Summit and Medina Boards of Developmental Disability to help spread awareness about the importance and objective of NDEAM; providing attendees with a clear understanding of its impact. They will explain the resources and services available to local companies; highlighting how they can assist your business in achieving workforce diversity and inclusion.

Attendees will leave the session:

• Understanding how local partnerships can be leveraged to attract diverse talent and foster an inclusive company culture.
• Practical knowledge and strategies to implement inclusive recruitment and workforce development initiatives within their organizations.
• Recognizing how NDEAM can be celebrated as a month-long initiative to drive change and inspire businesses to commit to long-term diversity goals
