On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, the OhioMeansJobs Summit County Center, located at 1040 East Tallmadge Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44310, will offer limited access to services to job seekers and employers.

The center will be operating with reduced staffing due to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and other festivities welcoming the Summit County Board of Elections, as the center’s new neighbor.

Customers are encouraged to call ahead before visiting to ensure a staff member is available to assist with employment services. To speak with a receptionist, please call 330-633-1050.

Please be advised that Metro RTA bus services may not follow their usual routes once on property. As a result, drop-off and pick-up points could be adjusted. Customers relying on public transportation should be prepared for the possibility of walking across the parking lot to reach the OhioMeansJob center.
